After creating a new office space by moving this majorly mobile furniture around in my transitional apartment (wonder how many butts have sat on this couch?) I ventured off to the Minnesota State Fair to spread the word of the wonders of Minnesota Teen Challenge. Met the most interesting people. Can you believe I've never been to the Fair? 53 years old and never been to a State Fair. Now I know why. You can have it!
Especially the crazy food. My favorite part was meeting those people who regularly support MnTC and sharing my success/miracle of healing! Rewarding. My favorite part of the day was watching the children fall asleep on the bus riding home. Wish I'd have known that was available when my children were growing up. What a great way to lull them to sleep. They evening sky at sunset was particularly spectacular this evening. How could I have missed such beauty for so many years?
